Commercial Aftersales Manager

You will cooperate with the management in Denmark and in the international companies, analyze, evaluate and develop the necessary management tools to ensure a stronger and optimized operation and earnings. We are looking for an aftersales manager for a newly created function. The aftersales manager will be responsible for developing a joint aftermarket effort in the Machinery Division for the Danish and foreign companies in the Danish Agro Group. You will refer to the Executive Vice President of our Agribusiness Machinery Division, who is located at our Head office in Galten, near Aarhus.

We are looking for the right candidate for this position. Therefore the working address can vary, depending on where the right candidate lives.

Support the business by implementing value-adding measures for the aftermarket

Your task will be to develop and implement new initiatives for the aftermarket in close cooperation with the companies' management and division directors. You will work closely with the group management and the suppliers in relation to achieving the set goals and strategies for the machinery division, and contribute to creating an environment where the focus is on implementing value-adding initiatives and positive changes.

More specifically, your tasks will be to:

  • Develop and implement new initiatives in collaboration with the management of the companies, which contribute positively to the development and level of service in the division.
  • Optimize the processes for the entire aftermarket, including digital development.
  • Act as key account of suppliers where strategic cooperation is to be developed internationally.
  • Dialogue with management and the relevant disciplines and ensure that the new initiatives are complied with.
  • Independently plan and conduct internal management meetings as well as with external suppliers.

You will get a visible role in relation to all the division's companies, where you coordinate, analyze, develop and implement initiatives that support their business. This requires that you are curious to understand the businesses, their needs, degree of maturity as well as what challenges they may face. The goal is to develop value-adding initiatives that help create a stronger synergy and earnings among the companies.

Experienced profile with industry experience

We are looking for a professionally strong and proactive outgoing person with experience from the industry. A person who can develop initiatives that create value across the machinery division's companies in an international context.

As a person, you are analytical, proactive and outgoing with natural drive to make things happen. You are able to see the common thread of the strategy and can translate it into real actions. You are structured and manage to keep several parallel projects and tasks going. You have an eye for business and communicate effortlessly with all types of stakeholders, and can motivate a positive change.

In addition, we expect:

  • Relevant commercial training and technical competences & insight into the mechanical engineering industry.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience from similar position and knowledge of the mechanical engineering industry.
  • Experience with communication and cooperation in an international group.
  • Solid IT knowledge, and experienced user of the Microsoft Office suite and IT applications.
